when airline and I saw Joanna Newsome at the Sasquatch Festival it was one of the highlights of the entire evening. Her music is just beautiful and she's got a really great personality.

Plus we finally found some shade to sit in and I got to enjoy it with the girl I was with. :)

Lucky! She played around here right near my house a while back, but that was before I knew who she was. :(

Yeah, i only just recently became a fan too so I was lucky. She was pretty refreshing because it was mellow and people were just laying in the grass on the smallest of three stages. Some of the more hardcore fanatics were in the sun of course right up near the stage.

But she was rad. After like 3 songs she said "I don't really have a setlist so if anybody wants me to play something just yell it out I guess." So that was very cool of her, and then of course "Peach, Plum, Pear" was great although not as rock-y as on her album.
