I had some more news items lined up for you today, but then I just said fuck it and deleted that piece.
I won't be updating this blog for a while. I'm going to focus on some other stuff. As far as this site goes, I'm maybe going to try to add more non-blog content (music stuff, etc.) and maybe play with the design of the site a little.

I'm as frightened as you are. The news that China was thinking about pegging their currency to another beside the dollar barely made a blip today. The weird thing about our society is, I think people have gotten religious because they're scared. They're scared of the endless wars, the impending economic collapse (those few who actually know of it). The future is now. Hell, I'm scared when I turn on the TV and I see people getting facelifts and body tucks on a f*cking show like they're applying makeup. I mean, who are we now? We have lost our identity as a people, as a nation. We turned to religion to find ourselves and wound up enabling the antichrist and his pack of Merry PNACers.
However, tides will turn. We'll come around to a new, enlightened age again. The sad thing is, though, I'm not sure whether either of us will be alive to see it.
Yeah, it's definitely going to get (much?) worse before it gets any better. Kinda wish I could just bury my head in the sand, you know?
